Krievu pareizticīgās baznīcas loma Krievijas ārpolitikā: Latvijas un Igaunijas gadījumu analīze

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir ,,Krievu pareizticīgās baznīcas loma Krievijas ārpolitikā: Latvijas un Igaunijas gadījumu analīze”. Darba pētāmā problēma ir Krievu pareizticīgās baznīcas ietekmes mehānismu līmenis uz Latvijā un Igaunijā dzīvojošām pareizticīgajām kopienām. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai Krievu pareizticīgās baznīcas izmantotie ietekmes līdzekļi Latvijā un Igaunijā dzīvojošo pareizticīgo kopienās ir līdzīgi vai atšķirīgi. Darba teorētiskā pieeja ir balstīta politikas un reliģijas attiecību analīzē. Darbā tika izmantota dokumentu satura analīze (kontentanalīze). Tika pētīti KPB un Krievijas ārpolitikas dokumenti, vētījumi, kā KPB pārstāvju un valsts amatpersonu un politiķu runas. Darba sākumā izvirzītā hipotēze tika pierādīta. Pētījumā tika secināts, ka KPB izmanto līdzīgus ietekmes līdzekļus Latvijā un Igaunijā.

The topic of the Master’s thesis is “The Role of the Russian Orthodox Church in Russian Foreign Policy: Case Studies of Latvia and Estonia”. The investigation concerns the level of the influence mechanisms of the Russian Orthodox Church on Orthodox communities in Latvia and Estonia. The aim of this study is to find out whether the influence of the Russian Orthodox Church on the Orthodox communities in Latvia and Estonia is similar or different. The theoretical part of the research is based on the analysis of the connections between religion and politics. The research paper was based on the analysis of various documents, such as those of the Russian Orthodox Church and Russia’s foreign policy documents, speeches of politicians, country’s officials and the representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church. The hypothesis proposed proved to be right. It was concluded that the Russian Orthodox Church uses similar means of influence in both Latvia and Estonia.
