Latvijas Tautas frontes Cēsu rajona nodaļas politiskā darbība (1988-1990)

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Latvijas Tautas frontes Cēsu rajona nodaļas politiskā darbība (1988-1990)” aplūkota Latvijas Tautas frontes Cēsu rajona nodaļas darbība, skatot to kontekstā gan ar vietējām aktualitātēm, gan Latvijas PSR mērogā. Latvijas Tautas frontes Cēsu rajona nodaļas darbība zinātniskā līmenī līdz šim nav tikusi pētīta, tādējādi paverot plašas izpētes iespējas. Darba autore izvēlējusies LTF Cēsu rajona nodaļas darbību pētīt politiskā aspektā, sniedzot padziļinātu ieskatu nodaļas darbā gan vietējā mērogā, gan republikas nozīmes darbībā. Maģistra darbā apskatīta LTF Cēsu rajona nodaļas attīstība no tās pirmsākumiem, tās aktīvākajā darbības periodā, pētniecību noslēdzot ar Neatkarības deklarācijas pieņemšanu 1990. gada 4. maijā. Darba noslēgumā secināts ka LTF reģionālajām nodaļām bijusi nozīmīga loma Latvijas neatkarības atgūšanā, nodrošinot gan tautas solidaritāti un vienprātību, gan dažāda līmeņa vēlēšanu labvēlīgu rezultātu.

The Master's thesis “Political Activities of the Cēsis Section of the Popular Front of Latvia (1988-1990)” is focusing on a specific aspect - activities of the Cēsis District Section of the Latvian People's Front, in the context of both the local spotlights and the scale of the Latvian SSR. The activities of the Cēsis District Division of the Latvian People's Front have not been studied at scientific level so far, thereby opening up extensive research opportunities. The author of the thesis has chosen to study the activities of PFL Cēsis district department from a political point of view providing an in-depth insight into the work of the chapter, both at the local level and in the activities of the republic. The Master's thesis explores the development of PFL Cēsis District Department from its origins, during its most active period of activity, concluding research with the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on May 4, 1990. At the end of the work, it was concluded that the regional division of the PFL has played an important role in the restoration of Latvia's independence, ensuring both popular solidarity and consensus and a favourable result of the elections of all levels.
