Bakalaura darba tēma ir kriminālprocesuālā imunitāte. Darbā iekļauts vispārīgs kriminālprocesuālās imunitātes principa apskats, savukārt, padziļināti pētīta šī institūta nozīme attiecībā uz Saeimas deputātiem un Valsts prezidentu. Saeimas deputāts un Valsts prezidents ir amatpersonas, kurām, pamatojoties uz šo personu īpašo tiesisko statusu, Latvijas Republikas normatīvie tiesību akti ir piešķīruši juridiskas izņēmuma tiesības nepakļauties dažādiem, obligātiem kriminālprocesa noteikumiem. Darba uzdevums ir noskaidrot jēdziena „Saeimas deputāts” un „Valsts prezidents” saturu un viņiem piešķirtās imunitātes pamatu, apjomu, mērķi, kā arī imunitātes atcelšanas pamatu un procedūru. Papildus pētīts šo amatpersonu imunitātes vēsturiskais rašanās process un piešķirtais imunitātes apjoms citu valstu konstitūcijās. Darba gaitā autore secinājusi, ka viedokļi par amatpersonai piešķirtās imunitātes nepieciešamību ir dažādi. Secinājusi, ka pašreizējais piešķirtās imunitātes apjoms ir par plašu un to nepieciešams samazināt. Bachelor’s work topic is immunity of criminal proceedings. This work contains general review of criminal proceeding’s principles, in addition, this institutions meaning towards members of the parliament and the state president has been researched in depth. Member of the parliament and the state president are officials to whom, based on special legal status of these persons, Latvian republic’s regulations have granted juridical exceptional rights to not obey various mandatory regulations of criminal processes. Work task is to determine concept’s “deputy of the parliament” and “state president” content and basis of immunity, extent and aim granted to them, as well as immunity cancellation and procedure. In addition researched the historical process of emergence of these officials and granted immunity extent in other country constitutions. The author of the work has come to a conclusion that opinions about the immunity granted to the officials differ, as well as the current amount of immunity that is granted is too wide and it is required to be reduced.
