Abstract
Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta PSRS , pēcāk, Krievijas karaspēka izvešana no Latvijas. Pētījumā aplūkotais laika posms ir no 1991. gada līdz 1998. gadam. Aplūkoto laiku periodu raksturo Latvijas politiķu intensīvs darbs, lai panāktu , ka ārvalstu karaspēks atstāj Latviju. Bakalaura darbā ir raksturotas PSRS un Krievijas karaspēka darbības Latvijā pēc neatkarības atjaunošanas, kā arī Latvijas un Krievijas starpvalstu sarunu gaita un armijas izvešanas process, Bakalaura darbā uzmanība tiek pievērsta arī ASV un Eiropas valstu palīdzība Latvijai, šī jautājuma risināšanā. Pētījuma izstrādē ir tikuši izmantoti Latvijas valsts arhīvā pieejamie Latvijas Republikas iestāžu oficiālie dokumenti , kas ir saistīti ar šo problēmu, kā arī abu valstu delegāciju sagatavotie līgumi šajā jautājumā.
Bachelor thesis deals with the withdrawal of USSR , later Russian , troops from Latvia. Period under review is from 1991 to 1998. This periodi s charecterized by intensive work from Latvian politicians to achive that foreign military troops would leave Latvia. Bachelor thesis describe actions uf USSR un Russian army troops in Latvia after it regained its independance , as well as transnational negotiations between Latvia and Russia , and the withdrawl process of the army. The Bachelor's thesis also focuses on the assistance of the USA and European countries to Latvia in solving this issue. During the reserch of this subject Official documents of the authorities of the Republic of Latvia have been used.
