Nexus between the legality of nuclear weapons and sustainable development

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to assess the legality of nuclear weapons from the perspective of sustainable development and to examine whether the legality of nuclear weapons is compatible with sustainable development. The thesis statement that the author proposes for a test is following: legality of nuclear weapons is not compatible with sustainable development. To test it, the author poses two following research questions: first, how is the legality of nuclear weapons not compatible with sustainable development; second, how can it be reconciled.
