Darbam pievienoti 7 pielikumi. This qualification work was developed by Ilze Belasa. The theme of the qualification paper is "Letter learning through fine arts for preschool children aged 3-4 years". The aim of this work is to find out theoretically how practical character education in preschool should be for 3-4 year old children. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: 1. To theoretically analyze literature on letter acquisition. 2. To theoretically analyze literature on fine arts in pre-school. 3. To theoretically analyze play activities in preschool. 4. To test theoretical conclusions in empirical research and to analyze the obtained results. The study will provide insights into pedagogical work with 3-4 year olds to successfully promote letter learning fine arts activities. The theoretical part of the study reflects the different authors’ theory of letter acquisition, the importance of figurative activity this process, where letter learning begins with the child's first pronounced syllables, and line. The psychological characteristics of the child are also described, as well as the pedagogical conclusions of various authors about the process of play and the content of teaching in pre-school. The practical part of the research examines theoretical findings and investigates children's letter acquisition using various techniques of fine arts. In order to obtain results and to answer the research question, three criteria were set for the children's letter acquisition. Summarizing the results obtained during the research, they were presented in tables, in pictures and the situation was analyzed. A written survey of pre-school teachers was also conducted to find out the teachers' views on the problem. The study has the following structure: annotation (in Latvian and English), introduction, 3 chapters, 7 subchapters, 6 conclusions, list of literature and sources, appendices. The text is set out on 66 pages, illustrated with 2 tables, 7 figures, and the list of references includes 47 publications and authors. There are 7 appendixes.
