Abstract

Anotācija Promocijas darbā „Sociālā pedagoga ekoloģiskās kompetences veidošanās lauku kopienā„ ir veikts teorētisks un empīrisks pētījums par sociālā pedagoga sadarbības ar citiem speciālistiem iespējām lauku kopienā. Promocijas darba pētāmā problēma aptver jautājumu, kā veidot dažādu speciālistu sadarbību lauku kopienā, lai atbalstītu un iesaistītu cilvēkus viņu problēmu risināšanā un pašattīstības uzlabošanā, un kāds ir iespējamais sadarbības teorētiskais modelis sociālā pedagoga darbībā. Šāda jautājuma nostādne aktualizē sociāli pedagoģiskās kompetences saistību ar ekoloģisko izpratni sociālā pedagoga profesionālajā darbībā. Līdz ar to, darbā pamatots un detalizēti aprakstīts ekoloģiskās kompetences jēdziens, kurā atklājas zināšanu un prasmju kopsakarības, sociālā mijiedarbība starp cilvēku un viņa vidi, sadarbība un saskarsme, kurā svarīga ikviena cilvēka unikālā sociālā pieredze. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka sociālā pedagoga kā lauku kopienas speciālista sadarbību nodrošina ekoloģiskā kompetence, kas savukārt veidojas sadarbībā ar citiem speciālistiem. Tas ir divpusējs process, kura rezultātā tiek uzlabota sociālo pakalpojumu kvalitāte indivīdiem, grupām un ģimenēm. Tiek identificēti jauni resursi mikro un mezo sistēmā (īpaši sociālo pakalpojumu jomā), kas atbalstītu ģimenes un bērnus un attīstītu jaunas dzīves prasmju programmas. Pētījuma rezultāti sniedz alternatīvu skatījumu uz sociālo pedagogu kā ekoloģiski kompetentu profesionāli, kam ir nozīmīga loma lauku kopienas iedzīvotāju sociālo problēmu mazināšanā un sociālās funkcionēšanas uzlabošanā. Pētījumā izmantoti ekoloģiskās perspektīvas teorētiskie priekšnoteikumi, kas ir ekoloģiski kompetenta sociālā pedagoga darbības pamatā. Tādējādi individuāli var tikt izstrādāta katra sociālā pedagoga darbības perspektīva, atbilstoši konkrētās lauku kopienas sociālajai situācijai Darba rezultātā ir izveidots ekoloģiski kompetenta sociālā pedagoga sadarbības teorētiskais modelis, ko ir iespējams adaptēt dažādās lauku kopienās ar atšķirīgiem resursiem un, izmantojot noteiktu kritēriju kopu, iespējams noteikt sociālā pedagoga ekoloģisko kompetenci. Šis modelis pamatojas uz sistēmiski ekoloģisko sadarbības pieeju, kas saistīta ar kopienas sociālās dzīves kontekstu un ir atzīstams kā novitāte sociālā pedagoga profesionālajā darbībā. 1 Izmantojot pētījumā gūtās atziņas, izstrādāti ieteikumi Sociālā pedagoga profesijas standartu papildināšanai ar noteiktām zināšanām un prasmēm, uzdevumiem un funkcijām. 2

Summary The doctoral thesis „The Formation of a Social Pedagogue’s Ecological Competence in a Rural Community” is a theoretical and empirical investigation of a social pedagogue’s cooperation opportunities with other specialists in a rural community. The research problem focuses on the cooperation of various specialists in a rural community in order to support and involve people in the resolution of their own problems and to improve their self-development. At the same time, the research examines the possible theoretical models for the work of a social pedagogue. The framing of the issue in such a manner brings to the fore the link between the competences of the social pedagogue and ecological understanding in the professional work of a social pedagogue. Thus, the research provides a basis and detailed description of the concept of “ecological competence,” in which the relationship between knowledge and skills, the social interaction between a person and his/her environment, and one’s cooperation and inter-relations with others in which the unique social experience of each individual becomes important. The research finds that the cooperation of a social pedagogue as a rural community specialist is secured by ecological competence, which, in turn, develops in cooperation with other specialists. This is a two-way process which results in the improvement of social service quality for individuals, groups and families. New resources in the micro and meso systems (particularly in the field of social services) are identified to support families and children and to develop new life skills programmes. The research results provide an alternative view on the social pedagogue as an ecologically competent professional with a significant role in the reduction of people’s social problems in rural communities and the improvement of their social functioning. The research uses theoretical conditions of ecological perspectives which are at the basis of the work of an ecologically competent social pedagogue. Thus, the future prospects for the work of each social pedagogue can be crafted individually in accordance with the concrete situation of the rural community. The research develops a theoretical model of an ecologically competent social pedagogue’s cooperation that is possible to adapt to various rural communities with differing resources. Moreover, using a defined set of criteria, it is possible to determine the ecological competence of the social pedagogue. This model is based on a systemic ecological cooperation approach linked to the community’s social life context, which is a novel approach in the professional work of a social pedagogue. Employing the insights gained in the research, the author has developed recommendations for amending the professional standard for Social pedagogues with certain knowledge, skills, tasks and functions.
