Mācību satura un valodas integrētā apguve (CLIL) izmantošana sociālo zinību stundās 3. un 4.klasē

Abstract

CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) ir satura un valodas integrēta apguve. Šo metodi izmanto, lai nodrošinātu iespēju mācīties valodā, kura izglītojamajam nav dzimtā. Diplomdarba tēma ir “Mācību satura un valodas integrētā apguve (CLIL) izmantošana sociālo zinību stundās 3. un 4.klasē”. Darba aktualitāte saskatāma nepieciešamībā pielietot CLIL metodi mācību stundā (sociālās zinībās) sākumskolās skolēniem, kas jāmācas otrā valodā (valsts valodā – latviešu valodā). Tas veicina attīstīt skolēnā kompetences, kas ir nozīmīgās valsts reformas saturā. CLIL mācību stundās ir divu veidu sasniedzamie rezultāti (SR) – saturā un valodā. Tas ir ar ko būtiski atšķiras CLIL mācību stunda no jebkuras citas stundas, jo stundas beigas ir paredzēts rezultāts gan saturā, gan valodā. Valoda ir līdzeklis, bet skolotājiem jāpārdomā, ka pielietot šo līdzekli lietderīgi. Diplomdarba mērķis izpētīt un praktiski pārbaudīt CLIL mācību metodi sākumskolā, 3. un 4. klasēs sociālās zinību stundās. Pētījuma jautājums: ar CLIL metodes izmantošanu skolēniem, kam latviešu valoda nav dzimtā, būs vieglāk apgūt mācību saturu valsts valodā, paredzot turpmāko izglītības reformu valstī. Diplomdarba pētījuma bāze Rīgas x ģimnāzijas 243 skolēni (3. un 4.klases), 6 pedagogi, 2 eksperti. Pētījumā laikā un autora novērojumiem un skolēnu, skolotāju un ekspertu anketas rezultātiem, tiek secināts, ka CLIL metodes izmantošana skolēniem, kam latviešu valoda nav dzimtā, būs vieglāk apgūt mācību saturu valsts valodā, kā to paredz izglītības valsts reforma. CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is content and language integrated learning. This method is used to provide an opportunity to learn using a language that is not native for a learner. The theme of the diploma thesis is “Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Approach at Social Study Lessons in grades 3 and 4 ’. The topicality of the work can be seen in the need to apply the CLIL method during a lesson (in social sciences) in primary schools for students to study using the second language (the official language - Latvian). It promotes development of students' competences that are at the heart of significant national reform. CLIL lessons have two types of Outcomes (SR) - in content and language. This is what makes the CLIL lesson significantly different from any other lessons because in the end of each lesson there is the expected result both in content and language. Language is a tool, but teachers need to overview how to use this tool effectively. The aim of the diploma thesis is to study and practically test the CLIL teaching method in primary school, in 3rd and 4th grades in social studies lessons. Study question: will it be easier to learn the content of instruction in the state language following further education reform in the country using CLIL method for students with Latvian language non - native speakers? Diploma thesis research base are 243 students of x Gymnasium (3rd and 4th grades), 6 teachers, 2 experts. After the research, author 's observations and the results of students, teachers and the experts questionnaires, it is concluded that using CLIL method it will be easier for non-native Latvian students to acquire the content of studies in the official stat language, as it is prescribed by the state of education reform.
