Pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu vecāku pašefektivitātes, viņu uztvertā sociālā atbalsta un depresija pazīmju saistība ar bērnu audzināšanas pieejām

Abstract

Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir atbildēt uz jautājumu, kāda saistība pastāv starp vecāku pašefektivitātes izjūtu, vecāk uztverto sociālo atbalstu un izjustajām depresijas pazīmēm ar bērnu audzināšanas pieejām? Pētījumā piedalījās 96 vecāki, no tiem 94 mātes un 2 tēvi, kuriem ir bērni vecumā no 3-7 gadu vecumam, ar noteikumu, ka nav uzsākuši mācības skolā. Aptauja tika izplatīta elektroniski izmantojot “Facebook” lietotni. Šajā pētījumā tika izmantotas “Ģentes audzināšanas pieejas skala”, “Daudzdimensionālā sajustā sociālā atbalsta skala”, kas tika papildināta ar apgalvojumiem saistībā ar sajusto atbalstu no baznīcas (mācītāja, kāda cilvēka, kas ir piederīgs kādai draudzei),“Pašefektivitātes izjūtas skala” un “Beka depresijas izpētes aptauja”. Aizpildītās aptaujas rezultāti rāda, ka augsta pašefektivitāte, ģimenes, draugu un nozīmīga cilvēka atbalsts ir nozīmīgi faktori pozitīvu audzināšanas pieeju izmantošanai, savukārt, jo vecāks spēcīgāk izjūt depresijas pazīmes, jo neiespējamāk šķiet pielietot pozitīvas audzināšanas metodes, kas vairāk veicina nekonsekventas disciplinēšanas un bargas sodīšanas metodes. Kas likās interesanti, ka audzināšanas metodes, tādas, kā “barga sodīšana” un “disciplinēšana” pastiprina sajustais atbalsts no baznīcas, ko pētnieki saista izjusto spiediena sajūtu, kas rada arī pastiprinātas depresijas pazīmes, ko izraisa baznīcas uzskati par to, kādiem ir jābūt vecākiem. Pētījumi rāda arī to, ka nozīmīga ietekme ir vecāku informētībai par bērnu audzināšanu un piemērotāko metožu izvēli.

The aim of this master’s thesis is to establish what is the correlation between self-efficacy, perceived social support and signs of depression with parenting approaches? In this study there were involved 96 parents, of which 94 mothers and 2 fathers, who have children aged 3-7 not having started primary school. The survey was distributed electronically through “Facebook” app. In this study there where used “Ghent Parental Behavior Scale, /GPBS/”, “Multidimensional Scales of Perceived Social Support”, supplemented with statements related to perceived support from the church (pastor or a member of congregation) “The self-efficacy scale” and “BDI-II”. The results of the survey showed that high self-efficacy, support from family, friends and significant person are important factors for the use of positive parenting approaches, as well as they feel more depressive signs, the more impossible seems to apply positive parenting techniques that contribute more to inconsistent disciplining and harsh punishment methods. It seemed interesting, that techniques such as “harsh punishment” and “disciplining”, where reinforced by the felt support from the church, that the researchers associated with the feeling of pressure, which also creates signs of heightened depression signs caused by the church’s views on what parents should be like. Researches also show that it is important to acknowledge parents about parenting so they can make a better choice between parenting methods and approaches.
