| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba mērķis ir veikt VAS “Starptautiskā lidosta “Rīga”” darbības un aviācijas nozares analīzi, kā arī prognozēt lidostas attīstības tendences. Šīs darbības ir organizācijas stratēģiskās plānošanas un pareizo lēmumu pieņemšanas pamatā. Darba ietvaros identificēti faktori, riski un iespējas, kas ietekmē Rīgas lidostas attīstību, kā arī tika aprēķināti Ziemeļeiropas un Baltijas lidostu tirgus koncentrācijas rādītāji, kuri norāda uz iespējamo konkurētspēju. Darba empīriskās pētniecības daļā autore izstrādājusi kombinētās statistiskās un ekspertu vērtējumu prognozes galvenajiem lidostas attīstības rādītājiem. | dc.description.abstract | The aim of the Bachelor's thesis is to analyse the aviation industry and the activities of SJSC Riga International Airport, as well as to predict development trends of the airport. These are the basic steps of the strategic planning and the right decision-making processes. The author identifies factors, risks and opportunities that affect the development of Riga airport. Airport market concentration ratios in Northern Europe and in the Baltic states are calculated in order to assess the airport’s competitiveness. In the empirical research the author combines the statistical and expert forecasts covering main airport development indicators. The work consists of 72 pages not including 10 annexes.
