Darba apjoms – 95. lpp. Atslēgas vārdi: radošā darbība, radošums, vecākais pirmsskolas vecums, literārie darbi. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is "Promoting a creative workshop for older pre-school children in the process of getting to know literary works.". The aim of the thesis is to examine the promotion of the creative activity of older children of pre-school age in the process of getting to know literary works. Imagination, experience and skills help children to express themselves creatively in the older pre-school age. Reading books, discussing everyday things - letting a child tell what he did today, what he wants to do tomorrow and what he dreamed of at night, but also answering the many "why" questions of the children and giving them the opportunity to work - drawing, gluing, painting, singing, dancing and of course playing - this is how the child's creative activity develops. The Bachelor thesis consists of 2 parts, conclusions, bibliography and appendix. The first part analysed the literature on creative activity, described the child's literature, the characteristics of the development of pre-school children and literary works that would promote creative activity. In the second chapter, studies are conducted on the promotion of creative activity in the process of getting acquainted with literary works. Research and characterization of children, practical work with purposefully selected literary works and analysis of children's creative work. The conclusions emphasised the importance of developing and encouraging children's creative activities in the process of getting acquainted with literary works. This is because modern technologies offer us ready-made characters and stories without the possibility of creating and shape them ourselves. It is important to arouse curiosity in children, the desire to indulge their imagination, to be creative. During the research, the hypothesis is confirmed that literary works promote the creative activity of older pre-school children when the teacher: • selects literary works that correspond to the children's level of understanding, experience and interest. • creates a creative and positive educational environment. The work is presented on 95 pages, with 6 tables and 52 illustrations. For the work, 71 literary sources were used, and 10 appendices were added. Keywords: creative activity, creativity, older pre-school age, literary works.
