Priežu sveķotājkoksngrauža Nothorhina muricata (Dalman, 1817) aktuālo sastopamību ietekmējošie faktori

Abstract

Priežu sveķotājkoksngrauzis (Nothorhina muricata) ir reti sastopama un maz pētīta suga gan Latvijā, gan Eiropā, kas tiek izmantota kā dabisko mežu indikatorsuga. Latvijā šī suga iekļauta īpaši aizsargājamo sugu sarakstā. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot priežu sveķotājkoksngrauža aktuālo sastopamību uz priedēm, un kādi faktori to varētu ietekmēt. Par pētījuma teritoriju izvēlēts Slīteres NP, jo tajā ir viena no zināmajām vietām Latvijā ar lielu populācijas atradņu skaitu. Pētījumā izmantota atkārtotā izskreju uzskiates metode, kurā izmantoti dati par 107 kokiem. Jauno izskreju skaits ir saistīts ar veco izskreu skaitu un koka sasveķojuma pakāpi. Sugas klātbūtni ietekmē koka slīpums, stumbra apkārtmērs un saules apgaismojums uz stumbra. Fotoekletoru lamatas būtu efektīvs veids, kā izvērtēt sugas aktuālo sastopamību uz konkrētiem kokiem.

Nothorhina muricata is a rare and poorly researched species in Latvia and Europe and is used as indicator for natural forests. It is included in the protected species list of Latvia. Aim of the research is to find out the actual occurrence of Nothorina muricata on Pinus sylvestris and what factors might affect that. There is one of the best known populations of this species in Slitere National Park so it was chosen as a place of study. Data were collected from 107 trees using visual accounting method. Presence and count of new exit holes in tree correlates with count of older exit holes and resin on the tree. The occurence of Nothorhina muricata is related with tree circumference, sun exposure on trunk and with tilted trunk. Emergence traps would be an effective way to to determine the current occurrence of the species.
