Paracetamolu saturošu bezrecepšu medikamentu izvēle

Abstract

Paracetamols jau vairāk kā simts gadus ir vienas no pasaulē plašāk lietotajām pretsāpju un pretdrudža zālēm. Paracetamols ir pierādīts kā drošs medikaments, lietojot atbilstošas un kontrolētas devas, tomēr visbiežāk ziņotā paracetamola blakusparādība ir hepatotoksicitāte, kas rodas pēc akūtas pārdozēšanas. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kurus paracetamolu saturošus bezrecepšu medikamentus pircēji izvēlas un šo medikamentu apriti “Galma aptiekā” un “Ozolnieku aptiekā” laika periodā no 2019. gada 1. janvara līdz 2020. gada 31. decembrim. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots, ka vispārdotākie paracetamolu saturošie bezrecepšu medikamenti “Galma aptiekā” un “Ozolnieku aptiekā” bija Paracetamol Actavis 500 mg tabletes, no pulveriem Theraflu ND un no bērniem paredzētajiem paracetamolu saturošajiem bezrecepšu medikamentiem Paracetamol-ratiopharm 125 mg supozitoriji.

Paracetamol has been one of the most widely used analgesics and antipyretics in the world for more than a hundred years. Paracetamol has been shown to be a safe drug at appropriate and controlled doses, however, the most commonly reported adverse reaction of paracetamol is hepatotoxicity following acute overdose. The aim of the study was to find out which paracetamol-containing over-the-counter medicines customers choose and the circulation of these medicines in “Galma pharmacy” and “Ozolnieku pharmacy” in the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020. The study found that the most popular paracetamol-containing over-the-counter medicines at Galma pharmacy and Ozolnieku pharmacy were Paracetamol Actavis 500 mg tablets, Theraflu ND from powders and Paracetamol 125 mg paracetamol-containing over- the-counter medicines from children.
