Ilgtspējīgas politikas īstenošana ES lauksaimniecības nozarē: gaļas nodokļa ieviešanas potenciālie efekti un sabiedrības attieksmes izpēte

Abstract

Maģistra darba par tēmu “ Ilgtspējīgas politikas īstenošana ES lauksaimniecības nozarē: gaļas nodokļa ieviešanas potenciālie efekti un sabiedrības attieksmes izpēte” mērķis ir pamatojoties uz aprēķiniem un aptaujas datu analīzi, noskaidrot gaļas nodokļa ieviešanas potenciālos efektus un sabiedrības atbalstu ietekmējošos faktorus. Nodokļa potenciālie efekti tika pētīti Latvijas kontekstā attiecībā uz siltumnīcefekta gāzu emisiju samazinājumu nodokļa rezultātā. Sabiedrības attieksme tika analizēta pārbaudot saikni starp zināšanām par lopkopības nozares ietekmi uz vidi un atbalstu klimata gaļas nodoklim. Iegūtie rezultāti norāda, ka optimāla klimata gaļas nodokļa ieviešana var panākt 9, 3 % lauksaimniecības sektora emisiju samazinājumu, tomēr šādam nodoklim nav plaša sabiedrības Latvijā.

The goal of the master thesis entitled “ The implementation of sustainable policy measures in the area of EU agriculture: possible effects of meat tax and analysis of public support” is to find out, based on calculations and survey data analysis, potential effects regarding implementation of climate meat tax and determinants of public support. The potential effects of the tax were studied in the context of Latvia in relation to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as a result of the tax. Public support was analyzed by examining the link between knowledge of the environmental impact of the livestock sector and support for a climate meat tax. The results indicate that the introduction of optimally designed climate meat tax can achieve 9.3% reduction in emissions from the agricultural sector, however for such tax there is a lack of support in Latvia.
