Maģistra darbā apkopota literatūra par masspektrometrijas metožu pielietojumu augu ekstraktu kvalitatīvajā un kvantitatīvajā analīzē, kā arī svarīgākajām bioloģiski aktīvo vielu grupām efeju sētložņas (Glechoma hederacea) polāru šķīdinātāju ekstraktos. Veikta Latvijā savvaļā augušo un kultivēto Glechoma hederacea 70% etanola ekstraktu kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā analīze, izmantojot šķidruma hromatogrāfijas-masspektrometrijas metodes. Identificēti 10 zināmi bioloģiski aktīvi savienojumi un provizoriski identificēti 9 iepriekš šī auga ekstraktos neaprakstīti savienojumi – fenolskābes un flavonoīdi. Tika noteikts, ka Glechoma hedreacea ekstraktu sastāvs mainās atkarībā no auga augšanas apstākļiem un vietas, bet visvairāk ekstraktu sastāvu ietekmē auga savākšanas laiks. Augstākais analizēto fenola savienojumu saturs ir maijā ievāktos augos. The literature about application of mass spectrometry in the qualitative analysis of plant extracts as well as the most important bioactive compounds found in polar solvents extracts of ground-ivy Glechoma hederacea is reviewed. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of wild and cultivated Latvian grown Glechoma hederacea is performed by LC-MS methods. Identity of 10 known biologically active compounds (phenolic acids and flavonoids) in 70% aqueous ethanol extracts was confirmed by reference standards and 9 compounds not observed in earlier were identified tentatively. It was found that the composition of Glechoma hederacea extracts depends on the plant growing location and conditions, however the main factor affecting the composition is time of harvesting. The highest content of phenolic compounds was found in the plants collected in May.
