At any time when concluding an employment contract, it is also necessary to be aware of the negative consequences arising from the employment relationship, which can potentially occur, therefore the topic ‘’Employee’s civil and disciplinary liability’’ is and will be important. The aim of the work is to find out the limits of the employee’s civil liability, possible problems in the future and compare it with the disciplinary liability. As well as to find a solution to the problems identified. To succesfully achieve the goal of the work, normative acts, foreign and national literature, court practice were used. In the process of developing the work, author came to several conclusions, mainly, it is not yet clearly which regulation would be more appropriate for harm caused by artificial intelligence, there are also certain shortcomings in the application of the employee’s civil liability. The work consists of four parts – the proconditions for the employee’s civil liability, the extent of liability and obligations of the parties, civil liability for harm caused by artificial intelligence in labour law, disciplinary liability and its separation from civil liability.
