Bērnības traumatiskas pieredzes un riska uztveres saistība cilvēkiem ar tetovējumiem un tetovēšanās motivācija

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv atšķirības starp bērnības traumatisku pieredzi un riska uztveri cilvēkiem ar tetovējumiem un cilvēkiem bez tetovējumiem, vai pastāv saistība starp bērnības traumatisku pieredzi un riska uztveri cilvēkiem ar tetovējumiem un kāda ir tetovēšanās motivācija un pieredze. Pētījumā piedalījās 147 respondenti vecumā no 19 līdz 59 gadiem, dalībnieku ar tetovējumiem izlasē piedalījās 55 respondenti (45 sievietes un 10 vīrieši) un dalībnieku bez tetovējumiem izlasē piedalījās 92 respondenti (76 sievietes un 16 vīrieši). Pētījuma dalībnieki aizpildīja Riska uztveres aptauju (Domain-Specific Risk-Taking Scale, DOSPERT), Bērnības traumas aptauju (Childhood Trauma Quesionnaire; CTQ) un Tetovēšanās motivācijas aptauju. Rezultāti rāda, ka nepastāv nozīmīgas atšķirības starp izlasēm ar tetovējumiem un bez tetovējumiem, kā arī netika konstatētas nozīmīgas saistības starp bērnības traumatisku pieredzi un riska uztveri dalībnieku ar tetovējumiem izlasē. Kā raksturīgākā tetovēšanās motivācija tika norādīts personīgais stāstījums, tetovēšanās bez īpaša iemesla un ķermeņa izdaiļošana. Apkopojot dalībnieku tetovēšanās pieredzi, tika secināts, ka lielākajai daļai respondentu ir 1 vai 2 tetovējumi, biežāk tetovējumi veidoti uz rokām, kājām un muguras, pirmo reizi tetovējās vecumā no 13 līdz 55 gadiem, lielākā daļa respondentu plāno vēl tetovēties, neuzskata tetovēšanos kā savu atkarību, neizjūt citu cilvēku neapmierinātību vai distancēšanos tetovējumu dēļ un nevēlas atbrīvoties no kāda sava tetovējuma.

The aim of the study was to find out whether there is a difference between childhood traumatic experience and risk perception in tattooed and non-tattooed people, whether there is a relationship between childhood traumatic experience and risk perception in tattooed people, and what is the motivation and experience of tattooing. The selection of the study consisted of 147 respondents aged 19 to 59 years, 55 respondents (45 women and 10 men) participated in the sample of tattooed participants, and 92 respondents (76 women and 16 men) participated in the sample of non-tattooed participants. Study participants completed the Domain-Specific Risk-Taking Scale (DOSPERT), the Childhood Trauma Quesionnaire (CTQ), and the Tattoo Motivation Questionnaire. The results show that there are no significant differences between tattooed and non-tattooed participants, and no significant correlations was found between childhood traumatic experiences and risk perception in the sample of tattooed participants. The most typical motivation for tattooing was personal narration, for no particular reason and body decoration. Summarizing the participants tattooing experience, it was concluded that the majority of respondents had 1 or 2 tattoos, the most frequent tattoos were on the arms, legs and back, the first tattoo was between 13 and 55 years of age, the majority of respondents planned to get more tattoos, did not consider tattooing as an addiction, do not feel other people's dissatisfaction or distancing and do not want to get rid of any of their tattoos.
