Abstract
The bachelor's thesis examines how screen time and day-of-the-week affect the emotions of the day, with a goal of finding moments of emotional exacerbation to make recommendations for improving the digital environment. The thesis carried out a theoretical study about the impact of the pandemic on screen time, and the impact of both screen time and day of week on experienced emotions. In practice, a week-long repeated measures study, analysis of data and comparisons with existing studies is carried out. The data analysis led to results showing a negative correlation between positive emotions and screen time and a positive correlation between negative emotions and screen time. The resulting data does not show a correlation between the day-of-the-week and emotions.
