Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēka (1958–1990) preses izdevumu publikācijās”. Tā mērķis ir sastādīt bibliogrāfisko rādītāju par Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēku laika posmā no 1958. līdz 1990. gadam un veikt rakstu satura analīzi. Par Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēku periodisko izdevumu publikācijās, par konkrēto laika posmu, līdz šim bibliogrāfiskais rādītājs nav izveidots. Tā esamība un aptvērums ir svarīgs, jo pēc rādītāja analīzes iespējams redzēt, kā tika veidota sociālā realitāte par Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēkas darbību trimdas laikrakstos un Padomju Latvijas presē. Bakalaura darbs balstīts uz rāmēšanas un hermeneitikas teoriju. Publikāciju analīze veikta izmantojot kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo satura analīzi, rāmēšanas teoriju un sentimenta analīzi. Pētījumā izvirzītā hipotēze – publikācijām presē bija nozīmīga loma sociālās realitātes veidošanā par Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēku kā trimdā, tā Padomju Latvijā – ir apstiprinājusies, jo, veicot pētījumu, tika noskaidrots, ka publikācijās par Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēku izmantoti rāmējumi, kas veido cilvēka izpratni par sociālo realitāti.

The title of this bachelor`s paper is “Publications (1958–1990) of the Library of the University of Latvia”. The goal of this paper is to compile a bibliographic index in regards to the Library of the University of Latvia from 1958 to 1990 and to carry out a content analysis of the gathered information. The existence and information of said index is extremely important because the analysis of it can provide an insight into the process of establishing the social reality of the Library of the University of Latvia in exile publications, as well as publications of the press of the Soviet Latvia. The basis of this bachelor`s paper lies in framing and hermeneutics theory. The analysis of the publications has been carried out using qualitative and quantitative analytical tools, framing theory, and sentiment analysis. The hypothesis of the study – publications played a big role in engineering the social reality about the Library of the University of Latvia both for the people living in exile and those in the Soviet Latvia – has been proven because it was found out that various framings in the publications about the Library of the University of Latvia were used to engineer the social reality and understanding of the readers.
