Zinātniskā produktivitāte zilajā ekonomikā Baltijas jūras valstīs

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir zilā ekonomika Baltijas jūras valstīs – tās zinātniskā produktivitāte, tai skaitā maģistra darbos, disertācijās un cita veida publikācijās. Pētījuma mērķis ir apkopot un analizēt informāciju par Baltijas jūras valstu mācību iestāžu studentu noslēguma darbiem un zinātnisko produktivitāti zilajā ekonomikā, tādējādi gūstot ieskatu zilās ekonomikas ienākšanai izglītībā. Darbs balstīts sociālā konstruktīvisma teorijā, kas skaidro mācīšanās procesa norisi un sociālās vides ietekmi uz mācīšanos un zināšanu radīšanu. Darba ietvaros ar bibliometrijas metodēm analizēti Dānijas, Igaunijas, Latvijas, Lietuvas, Polijas, Somijas, Vācijas un Zviedrijas studiju noslēgumu darbi, kas iegūti iestāžu repozitorijos un citējamības datubāzēs Scopus un Web of Science atrodamās minēto valstu visu veidu publikācijas zilajā ekonomikā. Darba rezultāti sniedz ieskatu zilās ekonomikas zinātniskajā produktivitātē un tās pārmaiņās laika gaitā Baltijas jūras valstīs, kā arī norāda uz pētnieku zinātniskās produktivitātes saistību ar izglītošanu atbilstošajā jomā.

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is the blue economy in the Baltic sea states – scientific productivity, including in masters and doctoral thesis and various other types of publications. The aim of the study is to gather and analyze information on the scientific productivity and student’s thesis of higher education institutions of the Baltic Sea States in the blue economy, thereby gaining an insight into the development of education in the blue economy. This research is based on the theory of social constructivism, which explains the learning process and the impact of the social environment on learning and scientific knowledge creation. Bibliometric methods are used to analyze the student’s thesis in Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Germany and Sweden, obtained in institutional repositories and all types of publications of those countries in blue economy from citation databases Scopus and Web of Science. The results of the work provide an insight into the scientific productivity in blue economy and its changes over time in the Baltic sea states, as well as points to a link between researcher’s scientific productivity and involvement in education in the relevant field.
