It is difficult for voluntary youth organisations to find young people who will participate in the activities of the organisation – projects, events, and meetings. Therefore, this study actualizes the need for methods that can be used by organisations to effectively attract new volunteers. The aim of the work is: To find out methods by which organisation “TREPES” can apply and attract new members. Qualitative methodology was used to phenomenologically - investigate the motivations of current members. To achieve the goal of bachelor’s thesis and to respond to research questions, interviews and focus groups with current participants were done, as well as expert interviews. The analysis and the result of the work provides an insight into what has inspired existing members to start volunteering in TREPES and stay in the organisation, providing a base for the before mentioned methods - The work concludes by providing answers to key research questions and by issuing recommendations on the methods, that will work most effectively on attracting young volunteers.
