Kvalifikācijas darba apjoms: 40 lpp., 4 tabulas, 11 attēli, izmantoti 22 literatūras avoti, pievienoti, 3 pielikumi Atslēgas vārdi: kustības, fiziskā attīstība, pastaigas, kustību rotaļas The topic of the qualification work of the author Inese Bebriša is “Improving the movements of 5-6-year-olds for walks”. Its aim is to analyze, study and practically test the possibilities of 5-6 year old children to improve their movements during walking. The theoretical part of the work analyzes the literature on the importance of movements in the process of children's development and the importance of organizing walks in the process of improving movements. The theoretical substantiation of the work is based on the findings of the project Skola2030 and authors such as L. Ū. Dalgren, A. Ščepanskis, R. Karlovska, J. Smiltiņa, etc. The empirical part of the work provides an insight into how the pedagogical activity for the improvement of movements during walks is developed, children aged 5 - 6 years were assessed according to six defined criteria, two movement specialists were interviewed about the role of walking in the development of movements and the results were analyzed. At the end of the work, conclusions are summarized, recommendations for teachers are given. In the course of the research it was found out that by regularly taking children for walks in the open air and encouraging them to use the diversity offered by nature (hills, trees, etc.), as well as purposefully organizing walks with various movement games, walks-hikes, sports games and fairy tales improves the development of movements.
