Datu aizsardzības speciālista loma personas datu aizsardzībā un tās problemātika

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Datu aizsardzības speciālista loma personas datu aizsardzībā un tās problemātika”. Maģistra darba mērķis ir aprakstīt datu aizsardzības speciālista prasības, pienākumus, kā arī praktiskās nepilnības, kas saistītas ar datu aizsardzības speciālistu pienākumiem un prasībām praksē. Visaptveroši izvērtējot normatīvo aktu prasības, kā arī salīdzinot Baltijas valstu normatīvos aktus attiecībā uz datu aizsardzības speciālistiem, darbā tiek identificēti vairāki aspekti, kuros normatīvais regulējums būtu uzlabojams. Darbā tiek sniegti priekšlikumi un atbildes uz datu aizsardzības speciālistu praktiskiem neskaidrajiem jautājumiem par prasībām, kas ir attiecināmas uz personas datu aizsardzības speciālistiem.

The topic of the master's thesis is "The role of a data protection officer in personal data protection and its problems". The aim of the master's thesis is to describe the requirements and responsibilities of a data protection officer, as well as the practical shortcomings that apply to the duties and requirements of a data protection officer in practice. Comprehensively evaluating the requirements of regulatory enactments, as well as comparing the regulatory enactments of the Baltic States with regard to data protection officers, the work identifies several aspects in which the regulatory framework should be improved. The work provides suggestions and answers to the practical vague questions of data protection officers about the requirements that apply to personal data protection officers.
