Kiberkarš un tā elementu izmantojums mūsdienu konfliktos

Abstract

Pētījuma tēma ir Kiberkarš un tā elementu izmantojums mūsdienu konfliktos. Galvenais darba mērķis ir noteikt svarīgākos kiberkara elementus un aplūkot to izmantojumu mūsdienu konfliktos. Sākotnēji darbā tiek aplūkotas kibertelpas un kiberkara jēdzienu definīcijas, kā arī kiberkara koncepts kopumā. Tiek aplūkotas arī nozīmīgākās kiberkara īpašības, kā arī kiberkara elementus un veidus. Turpinājumā tiek aplūkota kiberspēju attīstība mūsdienu pasaulē no 2007. gada līdz 2022. gada 24. februārim, aplūkojot gan valstu rīcību aizsardzības spēju uzlabošanai, gan uzbrukuma spēju uzlabošanu un iespējamos attīstības virzienus. Izmantojot gadījumu analīzi, tiek aplūkoti vairāki kiberkara piemēri un noteiktas galvenās īpašības šajos uzbrukumus, lai darba noslēdzošajā daļā būtu iespējams iedalīt noteiktos gadījumus pēc uzbrukuma mērķa, izmantotajiem rīkiem, kā arī pēc uzbrukuma iemesla. Šāda analīze sniedz plašāku priekšstatu par kiberkara lomu mūsdienu pasaulē un kiberkara elementu iespējamo izmantošanu mūsdienu konfliktos.

The topic of the research paper is Cyber warfare and the use of its elements in modern conflicts. The main goal of the work is to identify the most important elements of cyber warfare and to look at their use in modern conflicts. Initially, the work deals with the definitions of cyberspace and cyber warfare, as well as the concept of cyber warfare in general. The most important features of cyber warfare, as well as the elements and types of cyber warfare, are also considered. The development of cyber capabilities in today's world from 2007 to February 24, 2022 is considered below, looking at both national actions to improve defense capabilities and the improvement of attack capabilities and possible directions for development. Using case studies, several examples of cyber warfare are considered and the main features of these attacks are identified, so that in the concluding part of the work it is possible to classify the identified cases according to the purpose of the attack, the tools used and the reason for the attack. Such an analysis provides a broader picture of the role of cyber warfare in modern world and the possible use of cyber warfare elements in modern conflicts.
