Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā pārrunu vadīšanas stils (asertīvs/ neasertīvs) un interešu fokuss (savas/citu intereses) ietekmē pretreakciju pret pārrunu dalībnieku atkarībā no viņa dzimuma, un kā atbilstība dzimuma lomas normām prognozē pretreakcijas efektu pārrunās. Izlasi veido n=372 (84%) sievietes un n=69 (16%) vīrieši, vecumā no 18 līdz 70 gadiem (M=40, SD=10,23), 85% respondentu ir augstākā izglītība. Pētījumam ir eksperimentāls starpgrupu dizains 2x2x2. Pētījumā tika adaptēta Sociālās pretreakcijas efekta skala (Amanatullah & Tinsley, 2013). Iegūtie rezultāti uzrāda interešu fokusa prognozējamo efektu uz pretreakciju pārrunās (pārstāvot cita intereses, tā samazinās). Pētījums atklāj dzimuma normu ietekmi uz pretreakcijas efektu. Rezultāti iezīmē iespējamas atšķirības dzimuma normās Latvijas un citās kultūrvidēs. Attiecībā uz pārrunu dalībnieka dzimumu, nekāda ietekme netika konstatēta. Pārrunu stila prognozējošais efekts uz pretreakciju pret dažāda dzimuma pārrunu dalībniekiem netika novērots. The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between the negotiation style (assertive vs. non-assertive), the advocacy focus (self vs. other) and backlash to male and female negotiators, as well as the role gender stereotypes play in predicting the backlash effect in negotiations. The research sample consisted of n = 372 (84%) women and n = 69 (16%) men, aged 18 to 70 (M = 40, SD = 10.23), 85% have Higher Education Qualifications. The study has an experimental a 2x2x2 between-subject design. The Social Backlash Scale (Amanatullah & Tinsley, 2013) was adapted within the current study. The results showed the predictive effect of the advocacy focus on the backlash in the negotiation process (other-advocated negotiators experienced less backlash). The study identified the relation between gender attributions and the backlash effect. The results indicate differences in descriptive and prescriptive gender stereotypes in Latvia and other countries. There was no predictive effect of the negotiator’s gender found on the backlash. The assertiveness of the negotiator did not predict backlash to male or female negotiator.
