The importance of constitutional review is self-evident in a modern democratic state governed by the rule of law. However, a constitutional court justifies its purpose only if its rulings have a real positive impact on the legal system. Therefore, this Master's thesis examines problems with execution of judgments of the Constitutional Court that can be observed in practice. Accordingly, conclusions are drawn on whether the legal framework establishes the necessary preconditions for proper execution of judgments of the Constitutional Court. This Master's thesis also explores other factors that determine the role and importance of constitutional review in a legal system, drawing conclusions about the effectiveness of the Constitutional Court.
