Dziesmas un dzejoļi skolēnu-bēgļu angļu valodas apguves veicināšanai

Abstract

Dziesmas un dzejoļi ir vērtīgi valodu apguves materiāli to lingvistisko, pedagoģisko, kultūras un izklaidējošo īpašību dēļ. Autore kā angļu valodas skolotāja ir ieinteresēta atrast veidu, kā attīstīt skolēnu prasmes, izmantojot interesantākos un motivējošākos materiālus un metodes angļu valodas kā svešvalodas mācīšanai. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt un atrast veidus, kā izmantot dziesmu un dzejas materiālu angļu valodas stundās, lai attīstītu bēgļu skolēnu angļu valodas zināšanas. Autore ir izpētījusi teorētisko literatūru par mācību problēmu, organizējusi nodarbības ar dziesmām un dzejoļiem ar bēgļu skolēniem, salīdzinājusi mācību procesā iegūtos rezultātus un izdarījusi secinājumus. Izvēlētā pētījuma metode ir gadījuma izpēte. Darbā tika izmantotas vispārīgās zinātniskās teorētiskās metodes: zinātniskā materiāla atlases, vispārināšanas, sintēzes, analīzes un novērtēšanas metode. Pētījums ļāva secināt, ka dziesmu un dzejas izmantošana angļu valodas stundās ir attīstījusi bēgļu valodas apguvēju angļu valodas zināšanas. Kā arī uzlaboja skolēnu garastāvokli un mācīšanas atmosfēru stundās.

Songs and poems are valuable language learning tools because of their linguistic, pedagogical, cultural, and entertaining qualities. As an English teacher, the author is interested in finding the way how to develop refugee students’ skills using the most interesting and motivating materials and methods to teach English as a foreign language. The aim of the study is to consider and find ways to use song and poetry material in English lessons to develop English language knowledge of refugee students. The author has explored theoretical literature on the problem of study, organised lessons using songs and poems with refugee students, compared the results obtained during learning process and drеw conclusions. The chosen research method is a case study. General scientific theoretical methods were used in the work: the method of selection, generalization, synthesis, analysis and evaluation of scientific material. The study allowed concluding that the use of songs and poetry in the English lessons had developed the English language knowledge of refugee learners. Additionally, students’ mood and learning atmocphere were improved poems and songs.
