Now there is a lot of business online: for example, selling food, online education, entertainment, and so on. But like any business, there is a lot of competition on the Internet. And if the ways to interfere with your competitor in the real world are quite understandable, then to interfere in the Internet world, you need to be well versed in how the global network works. One way to harm your competitors is DDoS. DDoS attacks can take place in different ways and have different scales, but the goal of such attacks is always the same – to interfere with a competitor. Of course, not one person who has a business on the Internet does not want his site to be broken. In this case, he will look for ways to protect his web page or the entire server from attacks. This coursework consists of 2 main parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part tells in more detail about the DDoS attack itself, what it is and its history. Then, examples of the most famous DDoS attacks in the world and their technical side. And in the end, an assumption that awaits a DDoS attack in the future. In the practical part, real situations that the author encountered on his own are considered. And it was also checked which services for protecting against DDoS attacks are offered to ordinary network users and their own code was written to protect the server from DDoS attacks. | |
