Audzināšanas tematika Tomasa Manna romānā "Budenbroki"

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs ir veltīts Tomasa Manna romāna Budenbroki pēdējās paaudzes bērnu audzināšanas un izglītības analīzei. Darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka romānā aprakstītās bērnu audzināšanas metodes atbilst bērnu audzināšanas metodēm 19. un 20. gadsimta mijā buržuāziskajā ģimenē Vācijas sabiedrībā. Darbs ir balstīts gan uz teorētiskiem pētījumiem par Vācijas sabiedrību 19.-20. gadsimtos, gan uz literatūrzinātniskiem pētījumiem par T. Manna dzīvi un viņu literārajiem darbiem. Analīze atklāj, ka T. Manna romānā aprakstītās audzināšanas metodes un pieejas ir raksturīgas tā laika sabiedrībai, taču Ērikas un Hanno audzināšanas piemērus nevar uzskatīt par tipiskiem, jo viņu audzināšanā ir aspekti, kas nav raksturīgi buržuāziskajām ģimenēm.

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the analysis of the child upbringing and education of the last generation of children in Thomas Mann’s novel Buddenbrooks. The main aim of this thesis is to prove that the methods of child upbringing described in the novel correspond to the methods of child upbringing in a bourgeois family in German society at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. This thesis is based on both theoretical studies about German society in the 19th and 20th centuries and on theoretical literary studies of the life of T. Mann and his literary works. The analysis has shown that the methods and approaches to child upbringing described in Mann’s novel are typical for the society of that time, but Erica and Hanno’s upbringing cannot be considered common, as there are aspects that are rarely found in bourgeois families upbringing.
