Radikālās prostatektomijas ietekme uz vīrieša dzīves kvalitāti

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir ‘’Radikālās prostatektomijas ietekme uz vīrieša dzīves kvalitāti’’. Tēmas aktualitāti pamato, tas ka prostatas vēzis ir visbiežāk diagnosticētais ļaundabīgais audzējs Latvijā, kā arī vismaz 20 gadus tas ir visizplatītākais ļaundabīgais audzējs visā pasaulē. Radikālā prostatektomija ir viens no prostatas vēža ārstēšanas veidiem, kā jebkurai medicīniskai manipulācijai, arī radikālai prostatektomijai ir iespējamas komplikācijas. Radikālai prostatektomijai ir divas visizplatītākās komplikācijas, ar kurām saskāries gandrīz katrs vīrietis – urīna inkontinence un erektīlā disfunkcija, kuras ietekmē vīrieša dzīves kvalitāti. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā tiek ietekmēta dzīves kvalitāte pēc radikālās prostatektomijas. Lai sasniegtu vēlamo darba mērķi tika noteikti uzdevumi: veikt zinātniskās literatūras analīzi par radikālo prostatektomiju un tās ietekmi uz vīrieša dzīves kvalitāti, sagatavot un īstenot interviju ar vīriešiem, kuriem ir veikta radikālā prostatektomija, apkopot un analizēt intervijas laikā iegūtos datus, izdarīt secinājumus un sniegt priekšlikumus. Darba mērķa īstenošanai tika pielietota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode jeb intervija, kuras laikā tika intervēti 11 vīrieši, kuriem tika veikta radikālā prostatektomija gan konvencionālā, gan laparaskopiskā. Pētījuma dalībnieki visi ir gadu pēc radikālās prostatektomijas. Darbā tiek izvirzīts pētījuma jautājums – kā tiek ietekmēta vīriešu dzīves kvalitāte pēc radikālās prostatektomijas? Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti liecina par to, ka visi pētījuma dalībnieki ir saskārušies ar dzīves kvalitāti ietekmējošiem faktoriem, lielākoties, gan tie ir bijuši īslaicīgi. Katram respondentam atšķīrās skatījums uz to, kā sadzīvot ar dzīves kvalitātes ietekmējošiem faktoriem.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "The effect of radical prostatectomy on the quality of life of a man". The topicality of the topic is justified by the fact that prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignant tumor in Latvia, and for at least 20 years it has been the most common malignant tumor worldwide. Radical prostatectomy is one of the types of prostate cancer treatment, like any medical manipulation, radical prostatectomy also has possible complications. Radical prostatectomy has the two most common complications that almost every man will face – urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction, which affect a man's quality of life. The aim of the work is to investigate how the quality of life is affected after radical prostatectomy. In order to achieve the desired goal of the work, tasks were set to analyze the scientific literature on radical prostatectomy and its impact on a man's quality of life, prepare and conduct an interview with men who have undergone radical prostatectomy, collect and analyze the data obtained during the interview, draw conclusions and make proposals. For the purpose of the work, the qualitative research method, or interview, was used, during which 10 men who underwent radical prostatectomy, both conventional and laparoscopic, were interviewed. The men interviewed are all one year post-radical prostatectomy. The research question is raised in the work - how is the quality of life of men affected after radical prostatectomy? The results obtained in the study show that all research participants have encountered factors affecting the quality of life, mostly, but they have been temporary. Each respondent had a different view of how to live with factors influencing the quality of life.
