Tautas sports un tā īstenošanas sociālekonomisko un subjektīvo faktoru novērtējums Jelgavas novada pagastos

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis bija izpētīt termina “tautas sports” jēdzienu, tajā iekļaujamos aktivitāšu veidus un to īstenošanu Jelgavas novada pagastos, identificējot pagastu sociālekonomiskos faktorus un aptaujā noskaidrojot lauku iedzīvotāju iesaisti fiziskajās aktivitātēs veicinošos vai kavējošos subjektīvos faktorus. Padziļinātai jautājuma izpratnei tika veiktas vairākas intervijas ar tautas sporta pasākumu koordinatoriem un organizatoriem. Pētījuma aptaujā piedalījās 140 iedzīvotāji no pieciem Jelgavas novada pagastiem, vecums tika sadalīts sešos vecuma diapazonos – no 15 gadiem līdz vecākiem par 66 gadiem. Fiziskās aktivitātes līmeņa noteikšanai tika piemēroti atsevišķi Starptautiskās aptaujas īsās formas par fizisko aktivitāti (IPAQ) jautājumi un datu apstrādes principi. Pētījuma teorijas daļā tika noskaidrots termina “tautas sports” jēdziena saturs un piedāvāta tā definīcija kā pamats precīzai atbilstošu pasākumu un aktivitāšu plānošanai. Pētījuma praktiskajā daļā tika raksturota pētījuma dalībnieku sociālekonomiskā vide, noskaidrots pētījuma dalībnieku fiziskās aktivitātes līmenis un ciktāl tas saistīts ar dalību pagastos īstenotajās tautas sporta aktivitātēs. Tika noskaidrots, ka iedzīvotājiem ir raksturīgs zems un vidējs fiziskās aktivitātes līmenis. Raksturīgākie motivējošie faktori iesaistei – veselības uzlabošana, socializācija un iespējas nodarboties ar vēlamo sportu un gūt panākumus. Kā kavējošie faktori biežāk norādīti laika trūkums, kompānijas trūkums un vēlmēm atbilstošu pasākumu neesība. Tika konstatēts, ka pētījumā raksturotajos pagastos nav statistiski nozīmīgu atšķirību tautas sporta piedāvājuma izmantošanā un iedzīvotāju iesaistei tajā.

The aim of the Master's thesis was to explore the concept of "recreational sports," including the types of activities it encompasses and its implementation in rural environments of Jelgava county. This involved identifying the specific socio-economic factors of rural areas and conducting surveys to determine subjective factors that either promote or hinder rural residents' participation in such activities. Several interviews were conducted among the coordinators and organisers of sports activities for more thorough awareness of the situation. The study involved 140 participants from five rural districts of Jelgava county aged 15 and above, up to 66 years old dividing the respondents into six age groups. Within data processing, some questions, and principles of The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) were used to determine the levels of physical activity. The theoretical part of the study clarified the content of the term "recreational sports" and proposed its definition to facilitate precise planning and implementation of suitable activities. In the practical part, the socio-economic environment of the participants was characterized, their levels of physical activity were assessed, and the extent of their involvement in recreational sports activities in rural areas was explored. It was detected that the physical activity level of the inhabitants is low or medium. The most characteristic factors for the involvement are the improvement of health conditions, socialization and possibility to practice the preferable kind of sports and to gain success in it. Lack of time, lack of company, lack of appropriate acitity possibilities are most often mentioned as the hindering factors. It was recognised that within the different parts of the county there are no statictically important differences of utilising the possibilities provided for the recreational sports and the involvement of the inhabitants
