GPS lietojums mazumtirdzniecības mobilajās lietotnēs Latvijā un tā privātuma apsvērumi

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir pamatojoties uz izpētītiem literatūras avotiem, pārbaudīt atrašanās vietas lietojumu un to privātumu Latvijas mazumtirdzniecības lietotnēs, identificēt problēmas un ieteikt to risinājumus, kā arī, balstoties uz izpētītiem sekundāriem avotiem, atrast risinājumu viltotās atrašanās vietas noteikšanai un izstrādāt testa lietotni izmantojot to. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, tika analizēti sekundārie avoti par GPS lietojumu, tika izpētīta atrašanās vietas izmantošana Latvijas mazumtirdzniecības lietotnēs, analizējot tās manuāli un izpētot to pirmkodu, kā arī tika izstrādāta testa lietotne ar viltotās atrašanās vietas noteikšanas funkciju. Darba rezultātos tika salīdzināta GPS izmantošana izpētītajās lietotnēs ar Google Play/Android Developers rekomendācijām un tika formulēti ieteikumi izpētītajām lietotnēm. Kā arī tika noteikta un pārbaudīta metode viltotās atrašanās vietas noteikšanai.

The aim of the bachelor's work is based on researched literature sources, check the usage of location and its privacy in Latvian retail apps, identify problems and recommend solutions to them, as well as based on researched secondary sources, find a solution for fake location detection, and develop a test app using it. To achieve the goal, secondary sources on GPS usage were analyzed, the usage of location in Latvian retail apps was investigated by checking them manually and by studying their source code, and a test app with a fake location detection function was developed. The work results compared the usage of GPS in the investigated apps with Google Play/Android Developers recommendations and the recommendations were formulated for the investigated apps. Also, a method for determining the fake location was identified and tested.
