Vienaldzīgas un negatīvas estētiskas pieredzes Noela Kerola estētikas teorijā

Abstract

Tradicionālās estētikas koncepcijas neiekļauj vienaldzīgas un negatīvas pieredzes estētisko pieredžu lokā, jo par estētiskās pieredzes objektiem tiek uzskatīti tikai veiksmīgi mākslas darbi – tie raisa patiku vai pieredzi, kas ir vērtīga pati par sevi. Noels Kerols aizstāv saturā balstīto pieeju, kas atzīst vienaldzīgu un negatīvu pieredžu iespējamību un nozīmi mākslas objekta vērtēšanā. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, aplūkojot estētiskās pieredzes un to attiecības ar mākslas darba novērtējumu Noela Kerola teorijā, formulēt vienaldzīgu un negatīvu estētisku pieredžu nosacījumus.

Traditional conceptions of aesthetics do not include indifferent and negative experiences within the scope of aesthetic experiences, as only successful artworks—those that evoke pleasure or experiences valued for their own sake—are considered objects of aesthetic experience. Noël Carroll advocates for a content-oriented approach that acknowledges the possibility and significance of indifferent and negative experiences in the evaluation of art objects. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to formulate the conditions for indifferent and negative aesthetic experiences by examining the relationship between aesthetic experiences and the evaluation of artworks in Noël Carroll's theory.
