Kaitborda pludmales atpūtas bāzes izveides projekts Jūrmalas valstspilsētā

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Kaitborda pludmales atpūtas bāzes izveides projekts Jūrmalas valstspilsētā” mērķis ir veicināt kaitborda tūrisma attīstību Jūrmalas valstspilsētā, izstrādājot projekta priekšlikumu specializētai, kaitbordam, kā ekstrēmajam ūdens sporta veidam, piemērotu pludmales atpūtas bāzi. Lai veiktu problēmas identificēšanu, Autore veic pētījumu par kaitborda vēsturi, atpūtas bāzēm citviet pasaulē, kā arī pēta Jūrmalas attīstības plānus, izvērtējot Jūrmalas piemērotību šādas atpūtas bāzes izveidei. Pētījumā Autore noskaidro, ka esošais pilsētplānojums atļauj veikt nepastāvīgu ēku izvietošanu pludmalē, ar mērķi veikt uzņēmējdarbību, slēdzot teritorijas nomas līgumu ar Jūrmalas pašvaldību. Autore identificē arī to, ka Jūrmalas attīstības plānā tiek uzsvērta nepieciešamība popularizēt Jūrmalu kā tūrisma galamērķi, piedāvājot dažādas aktīvās atpūtas iespējas. Tādejādi, Autore nosaka maģistra darba pamatproblēmu – Jūrmalas valstspilsētā netiek izmantots ūdens sporta veidu tūrisma potenciāls –, kuras risināšanai izstrādā divu projekta alternatīvu sākotnēju analīzi, visbeidzot izstrādājot vienas piemērotākās alternatīvas projekta rokasgrāmatu. Maģistra darbs sastāv no 96 lapām, 22 attēliem, 10 tabulām un 46 pielikumiem. The aim of the Master thesis "Kiteboarding recreation spot development project in Jūrmala municipality" is to promote kiteboarding tourism in the city of Jūrmala by developing a project proposal for a specialized beach recreation spot suitable for kiteboarding as an extreme water sport. In order to identify the problem of the Thesis, Author conducts research on the history of kiteboarding, recreation spots around the world, as well as studies the development plans of Jūrmala, evaluating the suitability of Jūrmala for the creation of such a recreation spot. In the research, Author studies that the existing city and urban planning allows temporary placement of buildings on the beach, with the aim of conducting business, by concluding a lease agreement for the specific territory with the Jūrmala municipality. The Author also identifies that the development plan of Jūrmala emphasizes the need to increase popularity of Jūrmala as a tourist destination by offering various active recreation opportunities. Therefore, the Author defines the main problem of the Thesis – the tourism potential of water sports is not used in the city of Jūrmala – for the solution of which a preliminary analysis of two project alternatives is developed, finally developing a project workbook for one of the most suitable alternatives. The Master thesis consists of 96 pages, 22 images, 10 tables and 46 appendices.
