Surogācija: tiesiskais regulējums un izaicinājumi

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Surogācija: tiesiskais regulējums un izaicinājumi” autore norāda uz surogācijas tiesiskā regulējuma trūkumu Latvijas un starptautiskā līmenī. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas un starptautisko tiesisko regulējumu attiecībā uz surogāciju nolūkā identificēt nepieciešamo tiesiskā regulējuma pilnveidošanu Latvijā. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi, autore ir izvirzījusi vairākus darba uzdevumus, tostarp, izpētīt surogācijas jēdzienu un tās veidus, nacionālo un starptautisko tiesību ietvaru, kā arī sniegt iespējamos risinājumus attiecīgā jautājuma noregulēšanai. Autore secina, ka Latvijas un Eiropas līmenī esošais tiesiskais regulējums ir nepietiekams un neatbilst Eiropas Cilvēktiesību konvencijai.

The bachelor's thesis "Surrogacy: Legal Regulation and Challenges" analyses the lack of legal regulation of surrogacy at both the Latvian and international levels. The objective of this work is to study the Latvian and international legal frameworks regarding surrogacy to identify the necessary improvements in Latvia's legal framework. To achieve the goal of this research, the author has set several objectives, including studying the concept of surrogacy and its types, the national and international legal framework, as well as providing possible solutions for addressing the relevant issue. The author concludes that the existing legal framework in Latvia and at the European level is insufficient and does not comply with the European Convention on Human Rights.
