Seksuālā apmierinājuma un pašcieņas saistība ar romantisko attiecību kvalitāti

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai apmierinātība ar seksuālajām attiecībām un pašvērtējums ir saistīti ar romantisko attiecību kvalitāti. Papildus tika aplūkots kā dažādi demogrāfiskie rādītāji saistās ar seksuālo apmierinātību, pašcieņu un romantisko attiecību kvalitāti. Izmantota pētījuma metode- anketēšana, kurā piedalījās 50 respondentu vecumā no 18-30 gadiem no kuriem 19 bija vīrieši un 31 bija sieviete. Visi respondenti romantiskās attiecībās ir vismaz 12 mēnešus. Pētījuma dati tika ievākti izmantojot “Uztvertās attiecību kvalitātes komponentu aptauju” (“Perceived Relationship Quality Components”, PRQC, Fletcher, Simpson, & Thomas, 2000), „Seksuālās apmierinātības aptauju” (Sexual Satisfaction Scale /SSS/, Derogatis & Melisaratos, 1979; Young, Luquis, & Young, 1998) un Rozenberga pašcieņas skalu (Rosenberg self- esteem scale, Rosenberg, 1965). Pētījuma rezultātā tika secināts, ka gan seksuālā apmierinātība, gan pašcieņa ir pozitīvi saistīta ar romantisko attiecību kvalitāti. No demogrāfiskajiem rādītājiem statistiski nozīmīga saistība pastāv staarp vecumu un kaisli, intimitāti un kopējo uztverto romantisko attiecību kvalitāti. Līdz ar to, var secināt, ka pētījuma mērķis tika sasniegts.

The aim of the study was to find out whether sexual satisfaction and self-esteem are related to the quality of romantic relationships. In addition, it was examined how various demographic indicators are related to sexual satisfaction, self-esteem, and the quality of romantic relationships. 50 respondents aged 18-30 took part in the study, of which 19 were men and 31 were women. All respondents have been in a romantic relationship for at least 12 months. Research data were collected using the Perceived Relationship Quality Components (PRQC) (Fletcher, Simpson, & Thomas, 2000), Sexual Satisfaction Scale (SSS) (Derogatis & Melisaratos, 1979; Young , Luquis, & Young, 1998) and Rosenberg self-esteem scale (Rosenberg, 1965). The study concluded that both sexual satisfaction and self-esteem are positively related to the quality of romantic relationships. Among the demographic indicators, there is a statistically significant relationship between age and passion, intimacy and the overall perceived quality of the romantic relationship. Therefore, it can be concluded that the aim of the study was achieved.
