Hutuni un sihejuaņi Beidzjinā: konfrontācija starp veco un jauno

Abstract

Kaut arī ar kultūras mantojumu saprot tādas celtnes, kā, piemēram, Aizliegtā pilsēta vai Debess templis, hutuni un sihejuaņi arī tiek uzskatīti par arhitektūras pieminekļiem. Tomēr to kultūras analīzei ir veltīts maz pētījumu, galvenokārt tie ir ķīniešu autoru darbi, bet Latvijā šī tēma ir pavisam neskarta. Šis maģistra darbs izpēta strauju hutunu un sihejuaņu likvidēšanu Beidzjinā no 1949. gada līdz mūsdienām. Kaut darba galvenais fokuss koncentrējas uz hutunu nojaukšanas problēmām, nedaudz uzmanības tiek pievērsts hutunu vēsturei un to iedzīvotāju dzīvesveida pētīšanai, sihejuaņu struktūrai un simbolikai, kā arī tiek atzīmētas pozitīvās un negatīvās puses dzīvošanai sihejuaņos, tiek noskaidrots likvidēto hutunu skaits no Ķīnas Tautas Republikas nodibināšanas līdz mūsdienām un valdības plāni attiecībā uz hutunu nākotni.

Although in one’s person’s perception cultural heritage in Beijing are the Forbidden City or Temple of Heaven, hutong and siheyuan are architectural monuments. To the cultural analysis of hutong and siheyuan a slight amount of research paper is devoted, mainly works of Chinese authors, however in Latvia this theme is left completely untouched. This research paper examines the uprising hutong demolition in Beijing since the year 1949 till present time. Though the focus of the thesis lies on the problem of hutong elimination, much attention is dedicated to the research of hutong history and lifestyle of its residents, siheyuan structure and simbolism, as well as defining merits and demerits of living in siheyuan, the amount of demolished hutong from the establishing of PRC till present time and government’s plans on hutong in the future.
