Laika jēdziena apzīmējumi Senekas “ Vēstules Lucīlijam par ētiku”

Abstract

Līgas Pričinas darba nosaukums ir „Laika jēdziena apzīmējumi Senekas “Vēstules Lucīlijam par ētiku””. Šis darbs sastāv no divām daļām: teorētiskās un praktiskās daļa. Teorētiskā daļa sastāv no trijām nodaļām: pirmajā nodaļā tiek aplūkota Senekas biogrāfija un daiļdarbi. Otrajā nodaļā tek apskatīts stoicisma filozofijas iezīmes, kas tieši skar laika jēdziena apzīmējumus. Trešajā nodaļā, ar nolūku izprast jēdzienu pamatnozīmi, tiek analizētas Senekas darbā visvairāk izmantotās laika jēdziena apzīmējošās leksēmas. Pētījums veikts teorētiski – skaidrojošajās vārdnīcās. Praktiskā daļa sastāv no vienas nodaļas (darba ceturtā nodaļa), kurā ir divas apakšnodaļas. Šajā nodaļā tiek analizētas divdesmit divas atlasītās Senekas vēstules Lucīlijam. Pirmajā apakšnodaļā tiek apskatītas visas leksēmas, kas būtiski skaidroja laika jēdziena apzīmējuma leksēmas un otrā nodaļā tika aplūkota tikai vienas laika jēdziena apzīmējuma leksēma – dzīve. Pētījuma rezultātā autore nonāca pie secinājuma, ka leksēmas ir savstarpēji mijiedarbīgas un to skaidrošana bez konteksta var nebūt pareiza. Bakalaura darba izvirzītais mērķis – pētīt laika jēdziena apzīmējuma funkcijas, atklājot to nozīmi Senekas darbā „Vēstules Lucīlijam par ētiku” - ir sasniegts.

The bachelor’s paper’s title is „Designations of the Concept of Time in “Epistulae Morales ad Lucilium” by Seneca”, author Liga Pricina. This paper consists of two parts, the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of three sections: The first chapter deals with Seneca biography and writings. The second chapter describes features of stoicism philosophy within characteristics of the time concept. With purpose to understand meaning of time notion, the designations of the concept of time lexemes are explored in Seneka’s letters. Research is done theoretically – via explanatory dictionaries. The practical part consists of one chapter (fourth chapter of paper), divided into two subchapters. This chapter analyses the selected twenty-two letters of Seneca to Lucilius. The first section examines all lexemes that significantly explained the characteristics of the time lexeme concept and the second section deals with only one lexeme - life. The result of study author came to the conclusion that lexemes are interactive and explanation of them without context may be incorrect. The objective of bachelor thesis - to explore the designations of the concept of time, highlighting the meaning of them into Seneca’s "Moral letters to Lucilius" - is achieved.
