Teilora un Meijo menedžmenta koncepciju salīdzinošā metodoloģiskā analīze

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir veikt Frederika Teilora un Eltona Meijo menedžmenta teoriju salīdzinošo metodoloģisko analīzi. Darbā veikts populārāko zinātnes filozofijas teoriju apkopojums, lai izveidotu adekvātu metodoloģiju analīzes veikšanai, raksturota menedžmenta teoriju vēsture, lai iegūtu izpratni par menedžmenta izpētes tradīcijas attīstību. Veikta analīze, kurā Teilora un Meijo menedžmenta teorijas savienotas ar situatīvā jeb nejaušību menedžmenta teoriju. Tas nodrošina klasiķu teorijām aktualitāti arī mūsdienās, nevis tikai vēsturisku vērtību menedžmenta izpētes tradīcijas izveidē.

The purpose of this work is to perform comparative methodological analysis of Frederick Taylor’s and Elton Mayo’s management theories. In the work compilation of most popular theories of philosophy of science is carried out to make a suitable methodology for the analysis, the history of management theories is described to gain understanding about management research tradition’s evolution. An analysis is performed where Taylor’s and Mayo’s management theories are connected with contingency management theory. This provides topicality for the theories of classics not only a historical value in the making of management research tradition.
