Kakure Kirištan - Japāņu slepenie kristieši

Abstract

„Kakure Kirišitan – Japānas Slepenie kristieši” darba autors piedāvā pētījumu par vienu no mazpazīstamām japāņu reliģijām – Kakure kirišitan – slepenajiem kristiešiem. Neskatoties uz to, ka šīs reliģijas piekritēju skaits ir salīdzinoši mazs, un tie gandrīz nemaz nav ietekmējuši apkārtējo Japānas sabiedrību, viņiem ir izdevies izkopt savu reliģisko sistēmu ar rituāliem, tradīcijām un lūgšanām. Pētot Kakure kirišitan ticību japāņu reliģiskās apziņas kontekstā, autors vēlas noskaidrot vai šī reliģiskā kopiena pieder kristietībai, vai arī vairāk tomēr sliecas uz autonomu japāņu sinkrētiskās reliģiskās identitātes veidu. To darot, tiek aplūkota šīs reliģijas mijiedarbība ar tradicionālajām japāņu reliģijām – budismu un šinto, kā arī meklētas paralēles ar Romas Katoļu Baznīcas mācību, tradīcijām un simboliem. Tāpat arī tiek aprakstīta Kakure kirišitan vieta vēsturē un mūsdienās, kā arī viņu reliģiskās identitātes problēma.

In the paper “Kakure Kirishitan – Japan’s hidden Christians” author offers a research of one of little-known Japanese religions – Kakure Kirishitan – hidden Christians. Despite the fact that number of this religion’s followers is relatively small and they didn’t have any significant influence upon Japanese society, they succeeded to create their own religious system which includes rituals, tradition and symbols. During the research of Kakure Kirishitan faith in the context of Japanese religious consciousness the author wants to study out if this religious community could be seen as a derivation of Christianity or it tends to be an autonomous type of Japanese syncretic religious identity. By means of this analysis author inspects interaction between this religion and traditional Japanese religions – Buddhism and Shinto, and also searches parallels with teaching, tradition and symbols of Roman Catholic Church. The author also describes the place of Kakure Kirishitan in history and in present day and inspects the problem of their religious identity.
