Imperatora Justiniāna I teoloģisko darbu ietekme uz Baznīcas ortodoksijas kritēriju konsolidāciju Otrajā Konstantinopoles koncilā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Imperatora Justiniāna I teoloģisko darbu ietekme uz baznīcas ortodoksijas kritēriju konsolodāciju Otrajā Konstantinopoles koncilā” tiek analizēti imperatora Justiniāna I teoloģiskie darbi, kas līdzīgi kā Otrā Konstantinopoles koncila lēmumi atspoguļo viņa teoloģisko nostāju, kas bija vērsta uz Bizantijas baznīcas iekšējās vienotības nostiprināšanu. Darba uzdevums ir parādīt, cik liela ietekme Justiniānam I bija uz baznīcas dzīvi, un kā viņa rīcība ietekmēja baznīcas vienotības atjaunošanu pēc Halkēdonas koncilam sekojošās kontroversijas. Darbam ir 4 daļas un tas rakstīts Baznīcas vēstures ietvaros. Izmantojot pirmavotus, tiek aplūkota situācija, kas bija izveidojusies Bizantijas kristietībā imperatora Justiniāna I valdīšanas laikā, kā arī sniegti secinājumi par imperatora rīcības sekām.

Master thesis „The Influence of Emperor Justinian’s Theological Works on the Consolidation of Criteria of Church Orthodoxy in the Second Council of Constantinople” analyses the theological works of emperor Justinian I that together with the Second Council of Constantinople reflect his theological standpoint which was directed towards consolidation of inner unity in the Church of Byzantium. The task of the present thesis is to show the influence of Justinian I on church life and to find out how his actions affected renewal of church unity after the continued disagreements about Council of Chalcedon. This thesis has 4 chapters and it is written in the field of Church history. By analysing the primary sources, the situation in the Byzantine Christianity has been shown as it had developed during the reign of Justinian I in the 6th century. The conclusions driven from the consequences of emperor’s actions are presented at the end of the present thesis.
