Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir ”Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskās Baznīcas veidošanās priekšvēsture no 1905. līdz 1922. gadam. Sociālie un politiskie aspekti”. Tēze – vienotas Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskās Baznīcas veidošanos sekmēja latviešu ietekmes pieaugums sabiedrībā 19. gadsimtā un 20. gadsimta sākumā, kā arī Latvijas Republikas autonomijas un vēlāk neatkarības ideju izplatība. Darba mērķis ir apskatīt nozīmīgu Latvijas vēstures posmu – Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskās Baznīcas izveidošanos. Tās sākumi iesniedzas dziļi vēsturē, bet noteiktu rīcību piedzīvoja 20. gadsimta sākumā. Manuprāt, tēma ir nozīmīga, jo luterisms Latvijā 20. gadsimta sākumā bija lielākās iedzīvotāju daļas konfesija. Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskās Baznīcas izveidošanās bija vēl viens solis latviešu ceļā uz pašnoteikšanos. Tā veidojās kā nacionāla kristīga Baznīca, kas līdz tam latviešiem nekad nav bijusi Atslēgvārdi: Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskā Baznīca, vēsture, baznīca, konsistorija, Virsvalde.

The title of the Bachelor's work is: The historical background of the formation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia from 1905 to 1922. The social and political aspects. The thesis: the formation of the united Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia was promoted by the growing influence of ethnic Latvians in the society of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, as well as by the spread of ideas about the autonomy (and later – the independence) of the Republic of Latvia. The aim of the work is to deal with an important period of the history of Latvia – the formation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia. Its beginnings stretches deeply in history, but a definite action was experienced in the beginning of the 20th century. In my opinion, the theme is important, because in the beginning of 20th century Lutheranism was the denomination for the majority of the population. The formation of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran church was a further step towards the self-determination of the Latvian nation.
