Abstract

Mūsdienu pasaulē noziedzība ir kļuvusi starptautiska, līdz ar to noziedzības apkarošanai arī ir jākļūst starptautiskai, tāpēc norisinās valstu sadarbība. Viens no šādiem sadarbības veidiem ir personas izdošanas institūts. Bakalaura darba ietvaros autors apskatīs izdošanas jēdziena vēsturisko attīstību no seniem laikiem līdz mūsdienu visefektīvākajai šāda veida sadarbībai, kas notiek starp Eiropas Savienības dalībvalstīm balstoties uz savstarpējās atzīšanas principa. Vērsīs uzmanību uz izdodamās personas tiesību nodrošināšanas problēmām, izmantojamo drošības līdzekļu pielietojumu, lai nodrošinātu izdošanas procedūru vienlaikus pēc iespējas mazāk ierobežojot personas tiesības. The crime in the modern world has become international therefore combating it should be international as well. And this is where the cooperation among the national governments is of great importance. One of the kinds of the aforementioned collaboration is the concept of the extradition.Within the framework of the present bachelor’s thesis the author examines the historical evolution of the concept of the extradition over the period from ancient times to these days,considering the most effective ways to cooperate among the member states of the European Union under the principle of the mutual recognition. The author focuses on the issues concerning the provision for the rights of the person to be extradited,the application of the security measures to ensure the extradition procedure while taking care to impose limitations on personal rights as little as possible.
