Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Jauniešu valoda 20. gs. sākumā Jāņa Grīziņa stāstā „Vārnu ielas republika” atspoguļo jauniešu valodas pamatiezīmes un lietojumu 20. gs. sākumā Rīgā. Darbu veido četras nodaļas. Pirmajā nodaļā apkopots teorētiskais materiāls par jauniešu valodu – lietojuma motivācija, aizguvumu ienākšana jauniešu valodā, jaunvārdu darināšana, situatīvais lietojums, žargons. Otro nodaļu veido materiāls par 20. gs. sākuma Rīgas vēsturi. Trešajā nodaļā sniegts apskats par jauniešu valodu šajā stāstā, kas balstās uz pirmajā un otrajā nodaļā apkopoto teorētisko materiālu. Ceturtajā nodaļā dots pielikumā pievienotās vārdnīcas apskats. Šis bakalaura darbs sniedz ieskatu, kāda jauniešu valoda bija 20. gs. sākumā. Priekšstatu par jauniešu valodu paplašina pielikumā pievienotā leksikas vārdnīca.

The bachelor work „Youth’s Language in the Beginning of the 20th Century Depicted in the Story „The Republic of Crow Street” (“Vārnu ielas republika”) by Jānis Grīziņš” reflects the basic features and usage of the youth’s speech of the beginning of the 20th century in Riga. This work consists of for chapters. The first chapter contains theoretical material about the youth’s language – motivation of the usage, appearance of loanwords into the youth’s speech, coinage, situative use, slang. Materials about the history of the 20th century of Riga. The third chapter contains a review on the youth’s speech in this story based on the theoretical material summed up in the first and second chapters. A description of the vocabulary provided in the appendix is given in the fourth chapter. The bachelor work provides an insight into what the youth’s language was like in the beginning of the 20th century. The notion about the youth’s language is supplemented by the lexical vocabulary provided in the appendix.
