Darba atsākšana, izjustais neformālais sociālais atbalsts un vecāku kompetences izjūta mātēm.

Abstract

Šī pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv atšķirības izjustajā neformālajā sociālajā atbalstā un tā avotos un vecāku kompetences izjūtā strādājošo un nestrādājošo māšu grupās, kā arī noskaidrot vai pastāv saistība starp sociālo atbalstu un vecāku kompetences izjūtu. Šajā pētījumā piedalījās 60 mātes, kuru bērni ir vecumā no 3 mēnešiem līdz 2 gadiem. Mātes tika sadalītas 2 grupās: strādājošās un nestrādājošās mātes. Pētījumā tika izmantotas divas aptaujas: Vecāku kompetences izjūtas skala (Johnston, 1989), Saņemtā sociālā atbalsta aptauja (Dahlem, 1988). Šī pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka pastāv saistība starp vecāku kompetences izjūtu un tās skalām un saņemto sociālo atbalstu. Starp strādājošo un nestrādājošo māšu grupām netika atklātas atšķirības vecāku kompetences izjūtā un saņemtajā sociālajā atbalstā. Atšķirības starp šīm grupām tika atklātas saņemtajā sociālajā atbalstā kopumā.

The aim of this study was to discover the differences in the experienced informal social support, and its sources, the parenting sense of competence between working and non-working mothers, as well as,to find out if there is a connection between social support and parenting competence.60 mothers participated in this study. The mothers were divided in groups: working and non-working mothers. There were two questionairs used in this study: Parenting Sense of Competence Scale (Johnston , 1989), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Dahlem, 1988). The results of this study suggest that there is a correlation between the parenting sense of competence and received social support. There were no differences found between these two groups in the parenting sense of competence and social support. Differences between these two groups were discovered in the perceived social support in general. Key words: resumption of work, social support, parenting sense of competence, mothers
