Vienaudžu vardarbība, pašvērtējums un empātija.

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv saistība starp vienaudžu vardarbību, pašvērtējumu un empātijas līmeni. Pētījumā piedalījās desmitās un vienpadsmitās klases skolēni, pusaudži vecumā no 15-17 gadiem (n= 50). Pētījumā tika izmantotas šādas metodes: Vardarbības aptauja “Kā tev klājas skolā” (V.Rumpētere, balstoties uz T.Auroras izstrādāto aptauju par dzīvi skolā („The life in School checklist”, Aurora&Thompson, 1987), Pašvērtējuma aptauja (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Rosenberg, 1965) un Empātijas aptauja (EQ-Empathy Quotient, Baron-Cohen & heelwright, 2004). Pētījuma rezultāti norāda uz statistisku nozīmību starp vardarbību un pašvērtējumu, kā arī starp vardarbību un empātiju. Tika noskaidrots, ka pastāv statistiska nozīmīga atšķirība empātijas rādītājos starp pusaudžiem ar vardarbības pieredzi un pusaudžiem bez vardarbības pieredzes, savukārt pašvērtējuma saistībai ar pusaudžiem, kas piedzīvojuši vardarbību un pusaudžiem bez vardarbības pieredzes nav statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības.

The aim of the research was to determine whether there is a relation between peer violence, self-esteem and empathy. The study took part tenth and eleventh class students, adolescents, aged 15-17 years (n = 50). In the research were used following methods: Violence Questionnaire, "How are you doing at school" (V.Rumpētere, T.Auroras developed based on a survey of school life ("The Life in School Checklist" Aurora & Thompson, 1987), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Questionnaire (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Rosenberg, 1965) and Empathy Questionnaire (EQ-Empathy Quotient, Baron-Cohen & heelwright, 2004). The study results indicate statistical significance between violence and self-esteem as well as empathy. In study results are statistical significance in empathy indices between in adolescents who have experienced violence and abuse in adolescents without experience, while self-esteem in adolescent patients who have experienced violence and abuse in adolescents without experience no statistically significant difference.
