Microsoft Windows XP un Vista virtualizācija, izmantojot Hyper-V tehnoloģijas.

Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darbā apskatīta darbstaciju virtualizācija, izmantojot Microsoft piedāvāto rīku - Hyper-V servisu uz Server 2008 platformas. Darbā tiek piedāvāti trīs scenāriji, kas parāda dažādus veidus, kā izmantot piedāvātos risinājumus mūsdienu apstākĜos. Kvalifikācijas darba teorētiskajā daĜā ir aprakstīts Hyper-V serveris, tā iespējas un arhitektūra, priekšrocības un trūkumi. Praktiskajā daĜā sīkāk aprakstīti piedāvātie scenāriji un to uzstādīšana un izmantošana. Secinājumos sniegti ieteikumi virtualizācijas ieviešanai produkciju vidēs.

In this qualification work desktop virtualization using Microsoft's offered tools, respectively Hyper-V and Windows Server 2008, is looked through. There are three possible deployment scenarios offered, that show the different approaches, how the solutions work in nowadays environment. In the theoretical part of the qualification work, the prospects of Hyper-V server were looked at, namely - the pros and cons, the possibilities it offers and it's architecture. In the practical part of the work, the setup and scenarios are detailed. At the end of the paper, in the conclusions there are suggestions on how to make virtualization a part of the production environments.
