Problēmu angļu valodas apguvē apzināšana un risinājumu meklējumi.

Abstract

Lielākajā daļā vispārizglītojošo skolu, sākot ar 3.klasi, ir paredzēta angļu valodas kā pirmās svešvalodas apguve. Tā nav izvēles priekšmets, tāpēc to mācās visi 3.klases skolēni. Diplomdarba tēma ir problēmu angļu valodas apguvē apzināšana un risinājumu meklējumi 3.klasē. Autore šo tēmu ir izvēlējusies, jo ir gan novērojusi citu skolotāju darbā, gan arī pati ir sastapusies ar šādām problēmām: skolēni nespēj pielietot savas zināšanas dažādās situācijās, nepareiza angļu valodas skaņu un vārdu izruna, nepietiekama mācīšanās motivācijas valodas apguvē, kā rezultātā runas prasmes netiek attīstītas tādā mērā, cik tas būtu iespējams. Diplomdarba mērķis ir apzināt galvenās grūtības angļu valodas apguvē 3.klasē un meklēt reālus risinājumus to novēršanā. Teorētiskās daļas izstrādei izmantota dažāda literatūra un periodiskie izdevumi gan latviešu valodā, gan svešvalodās. Atzīmējami šādi autori: L.Muižniece, D.Blūma, R.Fišers, E.Smits, Ļ.Vigotskis u.c. Pētījumā tiek skatītas problēmas, kas vērojamas ne vien trešajā klasē, bet arī vecākajās klasēs. Taču autore uzsver, ka daudzas problēmas tomēr sakņojas jau pirmajā angļu valodas apguves gadā, tāpēc analizēt un risināt tās vajag tieši 3.klasē. Autore uzskata, ka angļu valodas stundās maz vērības tiek pievērsts runas prasmju attīstīšanai. Ar anketēšanas palīdzību tiek izpētīts un noskaidrots 60 skolēnu, viņu vecāku un 8 skolotāju viedoklis par minētajiem jautājumiem un salīdzināts ar teorētiskajā daļā gūtajām atziņām. Tika aptaujāti skolēni no četrām skolām: Jēkabpils 2.vidusskola (minoritāšu skola), Krustpils pamatskola (latviešu skola), Salas vidusskola (lauku skola) un Sūnu pamatskola (lauku skola). Anketēšanas rezultātā iegūtie rezultāti tiek apkopoti tabulās un diagrammās. Darba beigās ir izdarīti secinājumi un izstrādāti reāli priekšlikumi mācību darba kvalitātes uzlabošanā.

English as the second language is learnt from the 3rd grade in the most part of comprehensive schools. This is not alternate subject; therefore all of pupils must study it. The theme of the diploma paper is to gather information about problems in acquirement of English and to find solution of them in the 3rd grade. An author chose this theme because she has made hard work herself and observed many problems in other teachers’ lessons, too: pupils are not able to make use their knowledge in different situations, incorrect pronunciation of English sounds and words, insufficient motivation of learning language, consequently speaking skills are not developed thus it would be possible. The aim of the diploma paper is to get information about problems in acquirement of English and to find solution and distraction of them in the 3rd grade. Various literature and periodical editions both Latvian and foreign languages are used to output the theoretical part. It’s necessary to mention such authors as L.Muizniece, D.Bluma, R.Fisher, E.Smith, L.Vigotskis. There are explored problems that are met not just in the 3rd grade, but in the older grades, too. However the author accents that many problems root in the first year of learning English, therefore these problems must be solved right in the 3rd grade. The author stresses that teachers pay a little attention to development of speaking skills. View of 60 pupils, their parents and 8 teachers about mentioned problems were researched and queried by a questionnaire. There are polled pupils from four schools: Yekabpils 2nd Secondary school (minority school), Krustpils Elementary school (Latvian school), Salas Secondary school (country school) and Sunu Elementary school (country school). Results are compared with cognitions in the theoretical part. Sum of gotten results is summarized in tables and diagrams. In the end the author draw conclusion and made real suggestions to make better quality of education.
