Lasīšanas prasmju un iemaņu attīstīšana angļu valodas stundās

Abstract

Diplomdarbs sastāv no ievada, sešām teorijas daļām, praktiskās daļas, secinājumiem, literatūras saraksta un pielikumiem. Teorētiskās daļas pirmā iedalījumā „Lasīšana kā viena no angļu valodas mācīšanas sastāvdaļām”(1.1) izskata sekojošus jautājumus: kas ir lasīšana, skolēnu attieksme un interese pret lasīšanu, lasīšanas motivācijas attīstība. Otrajā daļā „Lasīšanas metodes” (1.2) ir izskatīti daži lasīšanas teorijas jautājumi: kas jāņem vērā, lai pareizi mācītu lasīt; kā mācīt lasīšanas tehniku. Trešajā teorētiskā daļā „Lasīšanas process un tā veidi”(1.3) ir apgaismoti skolēnu lasīšanas procesa saprašanas un vērtēšanas jautājumi, mācību posmi. Ceturtajā daļā „Teksta izpratne”(1.4) ir izpētīti priekšnoteikumi, lai izprastu tekstu: runāšanas prasmes līmenis, lasīšanas tehnikā līmenis, teksta grūtuma pakāpe, temata pārzināšana, par kuru lasa, skolēnu intelektuālās attīstības līmenis. Piektajā teorētiskā daļā „Lasīšanas prasmju veidošanas uzdevumi”(1.5) ir izskatīti trīs teksta uzdevumu pamat veidi: uzdevumi pirms lasīšanas, uzdevumi lasīšanas laikā, pēclasīšanas uzdevumi, kuriem ir ļoti svarīga nozīme, kad mēs runājam par skolēnu ziņkārības, ieinteresētības un lasīt gribas stimulēšanu. Sestā daļā „Mācīšanās stratēģijas darbā ar tekstu” runa iet par to, ka ir nepieciešami veidot skolēnos patstāvību, piedāvāt bērniem domāšanas un mācīšanas principu sistēmu, iemācīt viņiem prasmi mācīties. Diplomdarba praktiskajā daļā ir dots astotās klases, kur strādāja darba autors, raksturojums. Skolotāja uzdevums bija izmainīt astotās klases skolēnu attieksmi pret darbu stundā, uzlabot viņu lasīšanas iemaņas un paaugstināt viņu interesi pret angļu valodu.

The present paper consists of the introduction, six theoretical parts, the practical part, the conclusions, the list of used literature and the appendixes. The following questions such as: what it is reading; the students’ attitude and interest towards reading, the development of reading motivation are observed in the first chapter of the theoretical part. (“Reading as a part of the English language studying” 1.1) The different theoretical questions of reading, e.g. taking in an account for the right reading teaching process; teaching reading fluency are observed in the second chapter. (“The methods of reading”1.2) The pupils’ comprehension reading and the evaluation questions as well as the studying stages are investigated in the third theoretical chapter.(“Reading process and its kinds” 1.3) The conditions for comprehension reading, e.g. the level of fluent speaking skills, the level of fluent reading, the level of the difficulty of the text, the level of the knowledge of the text which is read, the level of pupils’ intelligence development are researched in the fourth chapter. (“Reading comprehension”1.4) Three basic assignments such as pre-reading, while-reading, post-reading are researched in the fifth chapter. These three assignments which are extremely important for students' interest being fond of reading and for reading motivation are observed in the fifth chapter.(“The studying strategies working with the the text”) In the sixth chapter is the discussion about the necessity of students' selfstudying; it is useful to offer students thinking and studying approaches and to teach them to study. The characteristic of Form eight where the author worked is given in the practical part. Teacher's task was to change the students' attitude to the studying process during the lessons, improve their reading skills and rise their interest towards the English language.
