| dc.description.abstract | Cilvēka vārds ir pirmā lieta, kas atšķir cilvēkus vienu no otra. Vēlāk parādās arī citas iezīmes, kā ārējais izskats, kultūra un līdz ar to, arī katra cilvēka valoda, vārdu krājums. Cilvēkiem sarunājoties, ir viegli noteikt, kāds katram ir vārdu krājums, bagāts un daudzveidīgs vai neliels.
Vārdu krājumu ietekmē ne tikai grāmatu lasīšana, bet arī nebeidzams mācīšanās process. Viens cilvēks nevar iemācīties visus vārdus, kas zināmi konkrētā valodā. Teorētiski tas gan būtu iespējams, bet tad cilvēkam būtu jāapgūst vairākās vārdnīcās atrodami vārdi un jāizprot to nozīmes. Līdz šim informācija un pierādījumi, ka to kāds paveicis darba autorei nav iegūti.
Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi tika izpētīta literatūra; viena gadījuma pētījums tika izvēlēts par pētījuma metodi. Pētījuma daļas sastāv no divu izstrādāto anketu analīzēm, ko pildīja skolēni un no skolotāja- eksperta interviju analīzes. Pirmā anketa tika izstrādāta, lai noskaidrotu, kā skolēni atceras jaunos vārdus. Otrā anketa tika izstrādāta, lai noskaidrotu skolēnu attieksmi par vārdu bankas veidošanu, kurš vārdu bankas veidošanas variants skolēniem šķitis vieglāks un ērtāks jauno vārdu apguvei.
Atgriezeniskā saite tika nodrošināta, ar brīvo atbilžu lapām, lai no skolēniem iegūtu informāciju brīvā veidā, lai uzzinātu vai skolēniem ir kādi ieteikumi attiecībā uz vārdu bankas veidošanu. Intervija ar pieredzējušu angļu valodas skolotāju, tika izvēlēta, lai uzzinātu skolotājas viedokli par vārdu mācīšanu, vārdu krājuma vērtēšanu un vārdu bankas veidošanu.
Pētījuma dati rāda, ka katram skolēnam ir sava pieeja, kā atcerēties vārdus. skolēni bija atvērti un neiebilda attiecībā uz neierastākas vārdu apgūšanas metodes izmēģināšanu. Savukārt, noderīgāk skolēniem patīk veidot vārdu banku pašiem, nevis mācīties jau sagatavotu vārdu banku. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Name is the first thing that distinguishes people from one another and then other features appear, for example, outer appearance, culture and our individual vocabulary. When people speak to one another one can easily notice who has rich vocabulary and who does not.
It is influenced not only by reading books and as many as possible, it is also an infinite process of learning. One can never learn all the words that are in the particular language. Theoretically, it could be done if the person would learn by heart and comprehend several dictionaries. For now, no information could be found with such evidence.
To achieve the set aim the literature review has been done; a case study as a research method was chosen. The research part consists of the analysis of two questionnaires to the learners, analysis of the interview with the teacher – expert. The first questionnaire was designed in order to find out how students learn and memorise new words. The second questionnaire was designed in order to find out learners’ point of view about the particular method- the vocabulary bank.
Feedback forms were given in order to gain information in a free form about students’ thoughts after trying out learning new words with the help of a vocabulary bank and to see what suggestions in making the vocabulary bank students can give. The interview with the English teacher deals with the analysis of questions concerning teaching and learning vocabulary.
The data of the research showed that each student has a different approach how to learn new words; meanwhile, students were open to try out another method how vocabulary can be learnt. | en_US |
